Standing as the Western gateway to the entire redevelopment of Don Mills, Reflections is “the first step towards making the reimagined plaza into a mixed use community space” says Reflections lead architect Roland Rom Cotlhoff of RAWdesign.
As a signature for the 12 storey mixed use condo, Reflections’ exterior will be customized in patterns and textures that speak to the commercial heritage of the area. The design will also coordinate with neighbouring Liv Lofts, an existing building that is being converted.
Reflections features large units suitable to a mature neighbourhood and market and incorporates many energy saving features, achieving LEED silver.
Providing more than just stunning views of downtown, the southern portion of the building is detailed with floor to ceiling windows and projected balconies. This passive solar design will allow the suites to capture the warmth from the low sun in wintertime and help shade away the high sun during summer.
